High information management security standards set at acQuire

acQuire is ISO 27001 certified 

PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA — 10 May 2024 — Global information management software company acQuire Technology Solutions (acQuire), a subsidiary of Vela Software, is now ISO 27001:2022 (ISO27001) certified.   

ISO 27001 is a globally recognised standard for organisations to manage and protect their information. The framework ensures companies establish, implement, maintain and continuously improve their Information Security Management System (ISMS).  

To meet this standard, acQuire has developed and implemented a number of policies to standardise how information is managed against the ISO 27001 framework. acQuire is now certified across the design, development, implementation, support and services of geoscientific information management solution, GIM Suite, and environmental data management solution, EnviroSys. 

“This framework provides assurance that we have the highest standard of information security practices in place to adapt to evolving threats and technological advancements,“ said Ashkan Tavassoli, Head of IT at acQuire.  

For acQuire’s customers, this certification ensures acQuire has the processes to look after their data using a global framework of the highest standard.
